Question 1

Can you tell me what’s in my product?

Accepted Answer

Perfume is still regarded by law as a ‘trade secret’: this is why brands do not disclose their ingredients. At Pure Signature, we believe in transparency. We publish the list of ingredients for our perfumes on each of our product pages.

Question 2

Everyone claims to be ‘natural’ these days. How can you be sure that your products really are?

Accepted Answer

Our products comply with the ISO 9235 standard, which stipulates that a product must contain at least 95 per cent natural ingredients to be labelled as ‘natural’ — except that we don’t do things by halves: it’s not 95 per cent but 100 per cent pure and natural, with 100 per cent traceability, which you can find on the product pages.

Question 3

Where do you source your raw materials from?

Accepted Answer

To find out, all the information is provided on our product pages. For example: Peruvian ambrette – the raw material comes from Peru, but the country of origin is France.

Question 4

Where are your products manufactured?

Accepted Answer

Our products are manufactured in France, in Grasse, the world capital of perfume, and bottled in Arzal in Brittany.

Question 5

What allergens are in my product?

Accepted Answer

We are 100 per cent transparent with you, rather than leaving you in any doubt: everything is set out in our product descriptions.

Question 6

What is the yield?

Accepted Answer

Let’s take ambrette as an example: 1 kg of ambrette is obtained from 500 kg of ambrette seeds.

Question 7

Do you test your products on animals?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not carry out animal testing when developing our products.

Question 8

What should I do if my skin reacts to a product?

Accepted Answer

Please get in touch via the contact form or via live chat, and we’ll help you find a solution.

Question 9

How are essential oils used?

Accepted Answer

The essential oil bottles are fitted with a child-resistant cap. You therefore simply need to press the bottle twice to open it.

Question 10

How do you use home fragrances?

Accepted Answer

It couldn’t be simpler: remove the clear cap and press once or twice to allow the scent to diffuse into the room of your choice.
